reading abilities. It gives you the basics of playing whistle, but it doesn't cover
reading sheetmusic. If you're new to reading sheetmusic, you might also want to pick up a
book on the basics. For instance, You Can Teach
Yourself Tinwhistle would be an excellent choice.

Whistle, Key of D- Most traditional Irish music is written in the key of
D or G. This whistle is easy to play in either of these keys. The whistle is made of
aluminum, and has a plastic fipple (mouthpiece), making it one of the lightest-weight
whistles available. It can be made tunable, if desired - see our Make It Tunable Page for more info on

and listen to. It includes full ornamentation (ornamentation is not included in
the book), as well as instrumental back-ups. An excellent way to here how the tunes should
sound.
