Oisre
(Oh-shra:
the Irish word for oyster, and a symbol for the growth of something beautiful in
unlikely surroundings)
is a rare find - an American band playing Irish music with both New World
enthusiasm and Old World virtuosity. Balancing the youthful exuberance of
Uilleann Piper and multi-instrumentalist
Zac Leger and Fiddler
Julian Lambertson with the seasoned experience of singer/guitarist
Mike Dugger, this group is primed to make an impression on the Irish music
scene in America.
