You may already know Greg
Mahan as "The Wandering Whistler". Greg has compiled a great collection of 50
Traditional Jigs - the tunes are arranged with a whistle player in mind, but
are of course suitable for just about any instrument. Most of the tunes are in
the key of D or G - all of them can be played on a D whistle.

Note that this book is not
intended as a Tutorial, but it does include some basic instruction on
ornamentation - many of the tunes also include suggested ornamentations and
phrasings.
