Hiltch (maker of these whistles) has not let us know when

we will then process it as soon as possible
(it is possible that it could still be a few months before
our next shipment arrives).
The Whistle Shop is excited to be stocking BW whistles!
These whistles play
as beautifully as the look; the attention to detail is stunning.
Irish tin whistles designed
with innovative looks, cutting-edge materials and meticulous
The whistles body is made of what is commonly
called "Aerospace Aluminum" which then undergoes anodizing for achieving
the bright silvery finish. The anodizing process also serves for
protecting the instrument, so no more black/grey/green rust spots on the
inside and outside of the whistle.
The whistle mouthpiece is
constructed from several pieces of resin, serving for moisture reduction
purposes , comfortable feeling in the mouth, and guiding the airflow for
sweetness and responsiveness.
The whistles are
handcrafted to perfection. They are machined, electrostatically coated
(depending on the model), polished and carefully inspected, to make sure
they perfectly suit the highest demands of responsiveness, agility, and
transition between octaves, enabling the player to always control the
tone and rhythm he wants.
The whistles are built at a boutique
workshop, by Gal Hiltch, a musician, multi-instrumentalist, machinist
and an artist.
The Black BW whistle is electrostatically treated with
a durable, scratch-resistant finish. It features two decorative,
polished aluminum rings.
The Silver BW whistle is made of quality aluminum
alloy, anodized to a shiny finish, then polished smooth.
Each BW whistle include a two-piece plastic case, but
you might also want to consider purchasing one of our
Whistle Pouches for your whistle.
If you are new to playing whistle, we always recommend that you start with a whistle in the key of D. See
