Hi All,
The Slow Session went well on Saturday. Our next Slow Session at The Whistle Shop is tentatively set for Saturday March 19th from 10:00am – Noon. I’ll send another email confirming this when we get a little closer to that date.

Updates:
~ I’ve added recordings of “Donnybrook Fair” to the website. I also changed some of the guitar chords on the sheetmusic (making them simpler). The sheetmusic for the melody remained unchanged.
~ Per Larry’s request, we’ve added “Behind the Bush in the Garden” as a new tune to work on. Since Larry plays Fiddle and Concertina, he has absolutely no regard for us whistle players, so he chose a tune that’s in the key of C (Larry knows that I’m kidding, don’t you Larry???). Don’t worry; it’s not too bad – I’ve added a few notes to the whistle players about this at the website, including a little info for if you’d like to try it on a “C” whistle. I hope to get recordings of this one done sometime soon.

Reminder – No more sheetmusic for “Off to California” and “Road to Lisdoonvarna” – this means when you’re playing at home too! Come on now, no cheating – this is for your own good (you know that you don’t really need it anymore for these two anyway…).
