RE: Slow Session at The Whistle Shop
Hi All,
‘Just a quick reminder that we’ll be having our Slow Session at The Whistle Shop this Saturday (May 24th) from 10:00am – Noon.
Kevin came over with his Flute the other day and made recordings of the tunes that we’ve been working on. I’ll be adding some rhythm guitar and/or whistle to these recordings as soon as possible, then I’ll post them at the website in place of the recordings that are up there now. In addition to regular “hi-fi” recordings, I’ll also be posting “lo-fi” versions of the tunes that will download much faster.
For those of you that might be interested, the Gaelic Park Irish Fest is going on in Chicago this weekend (Friday – Monday). If you have a minute, check out the schedule; it’s an unbelievable line-up of talent:

The Fest goes until 11:30pm on Saturday (it’d be well worth the trip up there after our Slow Session…).
