Slow Session
at The Whistle Shop
Hi All,
I hope that everyone had a safe and relaxing Labor Day weekend. The festival in Chatham was rained out on Sunday; I hope that no one wasted a drive there…
There will not be a Slow Session on Saturday Sept. 6th! Bloomsday is playing at the “Taste of Country Fair” in Lexington on that day, so Kevin and I will not be available to run the Session. Our next Slow Session is tentatively set for Saturday Sept. 20th (I’ll send out another email if this changes). I think that we should be getting back to our regular “1st & 3rd Saturday” schedule now.
I’ve posted recordings of “Wind That Shakes the Barley” at the Slow Session Website.
Also, a reminder that there’s a regular Session at Lucca Grill in downtown Bloomington tonight (Monday), starting around 7:30! I hope to see everyone there!
