at The Whistle Shop
Hi All,
Our next Slow Session is tentatively scheduled for Saturday October 18th from 10:00am – Noon. I’ll get another email out in the next day or two if this is going to change for some reason.
I’ve posted recordings of “The Friendly Visit” and “Give Me Your Hand” at the Slow Session Website now. I’ll try to get a recording of “The Lilting Fisherman” done sometime soon (I’ll send another email when it’s up there).
On a different note - I think that the annual Halloween Session at Lucca Grill will be on Monday October 27th this year. If you haven’t been to one of these, it’s great fun. Everyone’s supposed to show up dressed as their favorite tune (no, not as your favorite ‘toon; that’d just be silly…). We had a nice, large group of players show up last year; hopefully this year will be even better. If you’re on Kevin’s regular email list for the Lucca Grill Sessions, I’m sure that he’ll be sending out an email about this soon.
See you all at Lucca Grill for the regular Session this Monday night, then at The Whistle Shop for the Slow Session the following Saturday!
