shown below if you have not been issued an Affiliate ID Number by us - you
must fill out the form on the previous page for this HTML to credit sales
properly!
The HTML for your Affiliate Link is shown in
the white box below. Simply Copy & Paste it to your website. Make sure to copy
everything shown in white below - you will not receive proper
credit for sales if the HTML is not complete!
Special
Notes Concerning Text Links:
If you used any spaces in your link, you'll notice that our HTML
Generator inserted plus signs into the link where the spaces were (for example
"The Whistle Shop" becomes "The+Whistle+Shop"). Just replace these plus signs
with spaces after you paste the HTML to a text program (NotePad, for example).
Make sure however, that you do not put any other spaces anywhere else in the
HTML!
After you have placed the link on your
website, you can test it if you'd like (this is optional).
Here's how to do it:
Test
your link:
You can send us a
test-order if you'd like (this is not required, but
it can't hurt). Click on the new link at your website,
then place any item from our Online Catalog into
our Shopping Cart - make sure to use your new link
instead of an existing bookmark! When you go to the Check-out, choose
any payment method except "Pay by Credit Card" (so that
you aren't required to enter a credit card number), then
make sure to put a note in the "Special Instructions" box telling us that you
are testing your new affiliate link!
Important note on testing your Affiliate Link:
You must have "Accept Cookies" enabled in your web browser to test your
Affiliate Link! If you do not know how to enable cookies in your browser, check
your browser's Help file.
Note that you'll receive our regular automated Order Confirmation
Email when you place this test order (you can just
ignore it). You will also receive an automated
"Affiliate's Email" that shows the order total (if you do not
receive the "Affiliate's Email" within a few minutes placing your test order,
please contact us via
email to let us know).
We'll then send you an email within 48 hours (usually the same day) confirming that
the test order was properly received.
