Dixon Whistles are made in the UK by Tony Dixon (also well known for his
high quality flutes). They are made of PVC and have a wonderful clear tone that has enough
volume to hold it's own in any session without being overpowering. They play easily in
both octaves, making them perfect for the beginner as well as the experienced player. It's
a great whistle at a very reasonable price.
A "High D Duo" set is
also available (the "High D Duo" is a set that includes a whistle body with
interchangeable whistle and piccolo heads).
