Dixon Whistles are made in the UK by Tony Dixon (also well known for his
high quality flutes). They are made of PVC and have a wonderful clear tone that has enough
volume to hold it's own in any session without being overpowering. They play easily in
both octaves, making them the perfect choice as a first Low D Whistle, as well as a great
whistle for the experienced player.
A "Low D Duo" set is also available
(the "Low D Duo" is a set that includes a whistle body with
interchangeable
whistle and piccolo heads).
